Nitriding treatment is mainly applicable to low carbon steel, medium carbon alloy structural steel, tool steel and die steel containing Cr, Mo, V, Ti, Al and other elements. After nitriding treatment, a strong and tough surface hardened layer can be obtained, the core structure of the steel can be improved, and the overall strength and toughness of the steel can be improved.

Vacuum nitriding is a chemical process in which the active gas N atoms are penetrated into the metal surface in a pulsed manner under low vacuum (thousands PA ~ tens of kPa) and low temperature, so as to obtain high surface hardness or corrosion resistance. It is a process means of combining vacuum heat treatment with gas nitriding.

Application
